SFI-FI PAGANS

With the release of their eponymous album and gigs with some of electronic music’s biggest stars, San Francisco’s Date Nite is ready to party. The three-piece outfit - known for their banging jams, party antics, and dance songs about physics – consider themselves just on the cusp of their talents. “We’ve played in separate groups before, DJ’d in clubs and on the festival circuit, and certainly spent lots of time making electronic music,” says producer Jason. “But with the three of us working together we’ve created something really unique”. “I like to call our sound “Sci-Fi Pagan. But most people would just call it… a very loud, sweaty, good time” says singer and co-front woman Candy. And with Date Nite touring this winter, and remixes recently played at Coachella and on the Squarepusher tour, Date Nite definitely has some very fun, sweaty times ahead.
